Shipping Policy

We will get it to you. Eventually. Probably.

§ 1 — how this works

Print on Demand: A Brief Explanation

Unlike brands that keep warehouses full of identical t-shirts, Underperform produces each item specifically for you after you place your order. This means nothing exists until you buy it — which is either poetic or inefficient depending on how you look at it.

The process has two distinct phases: production (making your item) and shipping (getting it to you). Both take time. We ask for your patience with both.


§ 2 — production time

Before It Even Ships

After your order is confirmed, your item enters production. This typically takes 2–5 business days. During peak periods — holidays, sales, or moments when the universe conspires against smooth operations — it may take slightly longer.

Production time is not the same as delivery time. Your order has not been forgotten. It is being made.

You will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number as soon as your order leaves production and is handed to the carrier. Until then, no news is normal news.


§ 3 — delivery times and costs

All times below are estimated delivery times from dispatch — meaning after production is complete. They are estimates in the truest sense of the word.

Free shipping on orders over 70 EUR — because occasionally we can afford to be generous, and this is one of those occasions.


§ 4 — tracking

Where Is Your Order Right Now

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking number by email. You can use it on the carrier's website to follow the journey of your t-shirt across the continent.

Tracking updates are provided by the carrier, not by us, and are therefore subject to the carrier's own level of performance — which we cannot vouch for. If the tracking page says "in transit" for an extended period, this is almost always normal. Packages move in ways that are not always reflected in real time.

If tracking shows no update for more than 7 business days, please contact us at oops@weunderperform.com and we will look into it.


§ 5 — address accuracy

This Part Is on You

Please double-check your delivery address before confirming your order. We ship to the address you provide, exactly as you provide it. If the address is incorrect and the parcel is lost or returned as a result, reshipping costs will be your responsibility.

If you notice an error immediately after ordering, contact us at oops@weunderperform.com as quickly as possible. Once the order enters production, we may not be able to make changes. We will try. No promises.


§ 6 — failed deliveries

When Nobody's Home

If a delivery attempt fails because no one was available to receive the parcel, the carrier will typically leave a notice and attempt redelivery or hold the parcel at a local collection point for a limited period. Please collect it within the timeframe specified by the carrier.

If the parcel is returned to us because it was uncollected or undeliverable, we will contact you. Reshipping will incur an additional shipping fee. If you would prefer a refund instead, we will refund the product cost — but not the original shipping fee, which was spent getting the parcel to your country in the first place.


§ 7 — customs and import duties

For Orders Outside the EU

For deliveries within the European Union, no customs duties apply. For orders shipped outside the EU, your country may charge import duties or taxes upon arrival. These are entirely outside our control and are your responsibility as the importer.

We do not underestimate declared values on customs forms or mark shipments as gifts to help you avoid duties. We would like to, but we will not. It is illegal, and we are not that kind of brand.


§ 8 — lost or damaged parcels

When Things Go Wrong in Transit

If your order arrives damaged, photograph it immediately and contact us at oops@weunderperform.com within 14 days of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or refund.

If your order does not arrive within 30 days of the dispatch date, contact us and we will investigate. Under EU consumer law, if we cannot confirm delivery within a reasonable time, you are entitled to a full refund. We will not make you fight for it.

We take lost parcels seriously. Not because it reflects well on us — it doesn't — but because it is your money and your order and you deserve to either receive it or get it back.


§ 9 — delays beyond our control

Force Majeure, or: Not Our Fault This Time

Occasionally, delays occur that are genuinely outside our control — extreme weather, carrier strikes, customs backlogs, public holidays, or other events that no reasonable person could have anticipated or prevented. In these cases, we will communicate with you as clearly and promptly as we can.

We will not pretend these delays are not happening. We will not send you a template email telling you your order is "on its way" when we have no idea where it is. We will tell you what we know, when we know it, and what we are doing about it.
